National Fire Service Welcomes 27 New Firefighters After Rigorous Training Course

The National Fire Service (NFS) of Belize, operating under the auspice of the Ministry of Disaster Risk Management have recruited 27 new firefighters. This cohort successfully completed a rigorous eleven-week Firefighting Certification Course. A special event is planned for June 17 at the House of Culture.  In its congratulatory message to the recruits, the NFS expressed its commitment in providing swift response to emergencies, with the primary goal of saving lives and protecting property. It reminds the public that in the event of a fire, the public is urged to call 990 for immediate assistance.  /////
