One Man Left Injured After Road Traffic Incident Out West

Turning now to other news this evening: The family of a road traffic incident victim, Keiran Tzib, is appealing to the public for assistance with the mounting medical expenses they are currently facing. Tzib was injured in a crash that occurred near San Antonio Village, Cayo District on Tuesday, February 28 around five o’clock in the evening. According to Tzib’s mother, Ofelia Rodriguez, he had to undergo major surgery to treat his injuries. Tzib’s cousin, Wilder Gutierrez, explains that Keiran was knocked down as he was trying to cross the road just after a curve and did not see the oncoming vehicle.

Wilder Gutierrez, Cousin of Injured Person: “He was going through a curve and there is like a curve that then goes down and when he took the curve I think that the white car from the BRC company I think he was trying to go back like make a turn but he tried to make a turn just after the curve like when my cousin was coming. Since it was a curve he managed to see that the car was like across the road and he hit the passenger side.”

Ofelia Rodriguez, Mother of Injured Person: “I would like to give a call to the people who my son got involved with the accident with and you know to tell them it would be nice for them to give a help as you may know we have a lot of expenses going on. We have to pay hospital and especially me being a single parent I mean we have a lot of expenses and it would be really nice if they would extend their hand I would appreciate it. He got a really big cut, it was a surgery that he took a while and he got operated by his bladder and you know it will take time, it will be a process. It will heal but you know.”
