PG Residents Call on Town Council to Fix Bridge

Residents of Punta Gorda Town are asking local authorities to place caution signs near a fallen bridge on Cemetary Lane. The call comes after a young man driving his motorcycle fell in. One resident told Love News that “when he realize there was no bridge it was already too late.” The incident occurred at around one o’clock this afternoon. The resident shared that “he hit his head. Police officers transported him to the hospital. There is no stop sign to indicate that the bridge is damaged.”
