Retired US Citizen Victim of Home Invasion

A seventy-year-old retired American from Santa Elena Town was a victim of an armed home invasion on Thursday morning. John Wilcox told police that at around 9:30, he was inside his home waiting for his contractor when two persons barged in. One of them pointed a firearm at him and ordered him to get on the floor. Wilcox was assaulted and demanded money. Fearing for his life, Wilcox handed over an undisclosed amount of money. He was then tied up and locked into one of the bedrooms. Before leaving the house, the culprits also stole Wilcox’s documents and other personal belongings.
