Security Personnel Convicted of Drug Possession and Obstruction

A security personnel has been convicted of drug possession.  30-year-old, Keshane McDougall who works at New Asia Restaurant in Belize City, appeared unrepresented before Senior Magistrate Aretha Ford where he was read two criminal offenses of possession of a control drugs for 38 grams of marijuana and for obstruction.  He pleaded guilty to both charges.  The charges stem from a search conducted this morning at McDougall’s home on Banak Street where they found the marijuana.  As a result, he was fined three hundred dollars or serve three months in prison.
