Seven Charged in Chopping Incident Involving Police Officer and Brother

Tonight, five adults and two minors are behind bars after they were charged for a chopping incident that left a cop and his brother hospitalized over the weekend. Today, police arrested and jointly charged 29-year-old Melissa Villanueva, 20-year-old Sylvester Mendoza, 21-year-old Tyrone Mendoza, 18-year-old Adrian Lemus, and two 17-year-old minors with the crimes of Attempt Murder, Dangerous Harm, Grievous Harm, and Aggravated Assault upon Jerrington Ingram. Additionally, Villanueva, Sylvester Mendoza, Adrian Lemus, and the two 17-year-old minors were charged jointly for the crime of Attempt Murder, Dangerous Harm, Grievous Harm, and Aggravated Assault upon Jody Ingram. Delvorine Hollan, a 49-year-old resident of Unitedville Village, was also charged with the crime of Aiding and Abetting to commit Grievous Harm upon Jerrington Ingram. The charges stem from a chopping incident in Unitedville Village that left both men with severe injuries.
