Two women robbed; two suspects caught

Police are conducting investigations into an armed robbery that happened in San Ignacio. Love News understands that two women, identified as Wendy Campos and Mildred Gonzales, were walking in the Trench Town area when three men held them up with machetes. The armed robbers took a cell phone, a gold chain, some clothing and IDs from Gonzales while they took Campos’s phone and her IDs.  Quick response by police however led to the detention of an 18-year-old who was found with a bag, which contained some items. The women positively identified the stolen items as theirs and the suspect is to be charged with robbery.  Two other suspects were also pursued and one of them, a fifteen-year-old boy, was also detained. The third thief remains at large.
