The National Emergency Management Organization (NEMO) received a much-needed donation of firefighting equipment today from the United States Government. The cohort of equipment includes water tanks, hoses, and water pumps, which will greatly bolster NEMO’s efforts to tackle the nationwide wildfire. National Emergency Coordination Captain Daniel Mendez says the donation will be spread across the country, but a majority will be sent to the Toledo District.

The gifts were made possible through the United States Agency for International Development’s Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance.
