18-Year-Old Remanded for Stabbing Incident in Belize City

An 18-year-old has been remanded to the Belize Central Prison after he was fingered and charged for stabbing 19-year-old, Ralston McDonald.  Sanjay Cubert Gentle is being accused of approaching McDonald on Saturday at around one o’clock in the morning, and inflicting multiple stab wounds to his body. Gentle was taken to court late this evening.  A plea was not taken from him, and he was unrepresented.  During court proceedings, Gentle was read three charges, specifically, one count of attempted murder upon Ralston, use of deadly means of harm with a deadly instrument to with, a knife and dangerous harm.  Love News understands that the victim was returning from the Carnival Wet Fete when the stabbing happened.  He is listed as stable at the KHMH.  Gentle’s matter has been adjourned to November 22.
