A couple was busted trying to contraband almost one million dollars worth of medicine. Documents obtained by Love News show that on Sunday couple German Antonio Lobos and Maribel De Leon were intercepted by customs officers on the San Antonio Road. The couple was in a White Chevrolet Silverado, transporting twenty-five boxes of medicine. These boxes contained Farmiver Infantil, cyrux misoprostol, Vitamin E tablets, and a wide range of medications. We are told that the pair is from San Felipe Village and had brought in medication for a well-known pharmacy owner in Orange Walk Town. Sources to Love News say that this particular operation has been ongoing for years, and authorities in Orange Walk have heightened surveillance. The contraband is brought into the country from the Mexican side of the border, and it involves several key players with connections to the past UDP government. The total value of the medication is $961,592.55. The Ministry of Health and Wellness is aware of the matter. We’ll keep following the story.
