Soldiers from Kosovo, a South Eastern European country are being welcomed into Belize for military training. Love News understands that the Government of Belize has approved a collaboration between the Kosovo Security Forces (KSF) and the British Army Training Support Unit (BATSUB) to conduct joint training exercises in the country. The training will be facilitated under a Status of Forces Agreement reportedly, developed by Belize’s Ministry of Defence and Border Security. The agreement is said to establish the necessary legal and logistical guidelines for the activities of the KSF personnel while operating in the country. The British Military has a long history of training in Belize, dating back to its time as a colonial power. Belize with its rainforest jungles, rugged mountains, rivers and coastline offers a uniquely challenging and varied environment ideal for specialized military training.
