Home Invasion in Orange Walk District Leaves Family Shaken

A woman and her two children were the victims of a home invasion just after three o’clock on Sunday morning in the Orange Walk District.  40-year-old, Seidy Linez of Palmar Village was preparing to feed her infant child when three men in dark clothing entered the bedroom.  Two of the men proceeded to search the room, asking for money.  They found $450 cash and then exited the room, allowing the woman to secure herself inside.  The men reportedly stole two laptops and a phone along with the cash.  Love News understands that the thieves gained entry into the house by cutting the barbed wire on the fence, and prying the burglar bar door in the laundry room.  The woman was able to call for help.
