Family Seeks Answers in Juan Sho’s Mysterious Death Investigation

The family of Juan Sho is appealing to the Belize Police Department to provide them with an update on the investigation of Sho’s death. According to one of his relatives, Sho was last seen on Thursday when he left to sell tomatoes. On Thursday afternoon, he was reportedly seen by members of the community with relatives going fishing. On Thursday evening, the persons that he reportedly went fishing with returned home, but Sho did not.  Last night at around seven o’clock, the family received a phone call that prompted them to call the authorities. Investigators visited Mafredi Village where they spoke to a farmer who guided them to the Savannah area where charred human remains were found next to an orange and yellow bicycle.  Love News understands that the remains were bagged and taken the Punta Gorda Police Station. The relative told Love News that the Police Officers told the family that the body was taken to Ladyville for a postmortem and since then, they have not received any other information from the Police.

Relative: “Last night after seven o’clock minutes to eight a fisherman coming from the lagoon came by the family house and informed all the relatives that a body was found by the lagoon. Police officers were dispatched to the area. Around eleven o’clock minutes to twelve the body was located and then taken for post mortem examination and that is the last we have heard. We haven’t heard anything else, any updates with regards to that. No information with regards to that so the wife is asking questions, my aunt, they’re not living together anymore but the family wants to know what is the update from the police but we haven’t heard anything as yet. The condition of the body, any information, nothing. Yes we want updates. We want answers, what is happening, what is taking place, we want answers but none is being provided to the family. We just want answers as the family we want updates from the police and honestly I just want justice. I don’t believe he deserved a death like that. So if the police can please get in contact with the family especially the wife to give the update, provide update because right now we just want answers.”

Juan Sho leaves behind 4 children.
