Jeffery Pott Arraigned for Murder of Dion Bodden

As a follow up to the weekend murder of Dion Bodden, 35-year-old Belize City resident Jeffery Jeremy Pott, was arraigned in the Belize City Magistrate’s Court today on a charge of murder. Pott stands accused of killing Bodden, who was gunned down in Pitt’s Alley over the weekend. No plea was taken and due to the nature of the offense, Pott was denied bail. He was remanded to the Belize Central Prison until August 23. We note that the day before Bodden’s murder, Pott was fined for a charge of public drinking.
