Orange Walk Police Receive New Vehicles to Enhance Patrol Capabilities

Police in the Orange Walk District will now be better able to patrol various communities in the north thanks to the government and the Belize Chinese Association. Today, the Briceno Administration handed over an Isuzu DMax to the northern region while the association donated three motorcycles. The truck will be used primarily to patrol the town’s outskirts, and the motorcycles will increase the police’s presence in the town.  Police Commissioner Chester Williams and Northern Regional Commander Christopher Noble along with the Orange Walk Mayor welcomed the donations and expressed gratitude to GOB and the association. Tune in tomorrow as we tell you of the security measures in place for the upcoming Sugar City Carnival.
