Shyne Barrow Criticizes Patrick Faber’s Conduct in Public Office

In a one on one with UDP’s Party Leader, Moses Shyne Barrow, yesterday, one of the issues addressed surround Patrick Faber.  Barrow took issue with Faber’s behavior as an elected representative, recalling multiple incidents involving Faber.  According to Barrow, the fact that this level of behavior is not frown upon by the voters is what leads to a deterioration of who we allow in public office.

Moses “Shyne” Barrow, Leader of the Opposition: “Yes when I was 19 years old I was a young man. I made a mistake but you have a full grown minister that in his term of office he was accused of breaking the windshield of his spouse, there was a divorce proceedings where there were all types of accusations in there, then there was a police report that was submitted with another one of the young women that was working at the Ministry of Education that is now the mother of his child and then you had the video incident and then you had the head butting incident after the hammer incident and regardless of all of that people still vote for him. Right ? And it is something that we have to consider as a nation. So that is what gives these people the entitlement that they feel that no matter what they do if it is what they want it doesn’t matter whether they are right or they’re wrong because they’ve been enabled for their entire career. And that is why he ended up in the situation that he ended up because we do have to face gravity and we do have to face consequences. But this is all a charade, all one big farcical circus.”
