Belize City Man Charged with Drug Trafficking Granted Bail

A Belize City man is out on bail after being charged with drug trafficking. Forty-five-year-old Robert Thurton appeared in the Belize City Magistrate’s Court today charged with possession of controlled drugs with intent to supply to another, in connection with two hundred, seventeen grams of marijuana. He was granted bail in the sum of one thousand five hundred dollars, which he met. Thurton is due back in court on September 18.
