A Belize City man who was already on remand at the Belize Central Prison on a charge of murder, was charged with another murder today. Twenty-one-year-old Robert Emmanuel Arnold was arraigned in the Belize City Magistrate’s Court today in connection with the murder of 32-year-old Cruz Magana in Burrell Boom Village on June 3. No plea was taken, and bail was denied due to the nature of the offense. Arnold is due back in court with respect to this murder charge on September 19. We note that on June 25, Arnold was jointly charged with 22-year-old Travis Herbert for the murder of Rudolph Lewis, who was gunned down on Elston Kerr Street in Belize City on March 22.
