Belize Warns Public Against Illegal Online Gaming Websites Falsely Claiming Licenses

In a recent revelation, the Government of Belize has uncovered a string of online gaming websites falsely claiming to possess legitimate online gaming licenses from Belize. The Ministry of Investment has swiftly moved to address the issue, issuing a stern warning to both the internet community and the public.  Belize currently enforces a moratorium on online gaming licenses. As a result, no online gaming companies are licensed to operate from Belize, and no licenses will be granted until further notice.  The Ministry of Investment has explicitly stated that any entities purporting to hold an online gaming license from Belize must cease their operations immediately. These operations are deemed clandestine and illegal, and the Ministry urges all internet users to refrain from engaging in any business transactions with such companies.  As the government crackdown on illegal online gaming continues, the public is encouraged to report any suspicious activity to the relevant authorities.
