Residents of the Collet constituency turned out in encouraging numbers this weekend as the Collet Immigration Mobile Clinic got underway, offering vital immigration support services directly to the community. Organizers say the first day of the clinic was a success, with steady attendance from residents seeking guidance and assistance on a range of immigration-related matters. The Collet Immigration Clinic was held on Saturday and Sunday at the Gateway Youth Center, which has provided a convenient and welcoming space for community members. On Satruday, Minister of Immigration Kareem Musa, explained that the services were being offered to everyone in Belize City.
Kreem Musa, Minister of Immigration: “Our entire staff is here to serve the community in collaboration with the era representative for the Collet constituency, Honorable Devin Daley. You can clearly see where the constituents of Collet and across Belize City are truly appreciative of the services coming out to them because many times people are not able to make it to Belmopan or into the offices and so this type of outreach truly does have a great impact here in the community.”
