COVID-19 cases remain a concern for MOWH

Two hundred seventy-one: that’s much many new COVID-19 cases were recorded by the Ministry of Health and Wellness over the past week. According to MOHW, between December 20 and 27 there were 271 new cases, zero deaths, and for the first time in many weeks, there are two hospitalizations. Of the total number of new cases, 107 were recorded in the Belize District. There are now one hundred forty-four active COVID-19 cases, which have been offset by the number of recoveries reported in the same week.
