Dangriga Constable Detained for Firing Gun at Fellow Officer

A police constable attached to the Dangriga formation is detained after unwarrantedly using his service revolver in public and injuring a fellow officer.  27-year-old, Harry Bo, was on duty last night when a simple conversation quickly escalated into a life-threatening situation.  Love News understands that Bo along with fellow constables, 21-year-old, Christian Koyoc, 24-year-old, Jerel Hendy and Leonardo Cal were out buying food at around ten o’clock last night in the Lakeland Area.  As they waited, a conversation was sparked where PC Koyoc paid a complement to PC Hendy on his professionalism on the job.  PC Bo immediately interjected, countering Koyoc’s statement and declaring that he, (PC Bo) is the best officer to work with.  PC Bo then proceeded to pull his firearm and fire a shot at the feet of PC Hendy.  The shot did not hit Hendy directly, but did cause some bruising due to the proximity.  The officers returned immediately to the Dangriga Police Station out of fear of further escalation.  Constable Bo has since been detained as confirmed by the Police Commissioner.

Love News understands that the officer’s service revolver has been bagged off as evidence.  Investigators responded to the scene and found an expended shell from the nine millimeter Luger brand pistol that was used.
