Fire Destroys Belize City Home, No Injuries Reported

A house fire broke out just before ten o’clock this morning in Belize City, destroying the home of a woman and her two children.  Fire officials were alerted of a bungalow wooden structure on fire just off Holy Emmanuel Street in the Lake Independence area.  Initials reports were that there were children inside the burning house but that was disproven when our team arrived at the scene.  Love News understands that the woman had left the house this morning with her two children.  According to a neighbor, they began seeing smoke coming out of the house sometime after nine o’clock.

The owner of the home had declined giving an interview to Love News.
