French National Found Dead Under Suspicious Circumstances in Cayo District Home

A French national was found dead in her home on Monday morning in the area of Tres Puntas in the Cayo District. The body of 52-year-old, Parraton Vernioue Danielle was found on a bed, faced down, with three cut wounds to the neck. Under the bed, Police found two of her dogs, also dead. Police confirmed this afternoon that foul play was suspected as the post mortem showed that the woman died of asphyxiation due to neck compressions.  Immediate action by the Police along with other agencies led to the detention of the victim’s daughter who was detained at the Philip Goldson International Airport.  A reliable source to our newsroom indicate that the Police are looking to charge the daughter with manslaughter.  Love News understands that initially the daughter was declaring that her mother had committed suicide, but that was later found to be untrue.
