Intoxicated Man Injured in Domestic Dispute He Reportedly Started

A man from Libertad Village in the Corozal District was cut to the neck, ear, and hand last night when he went to his ex-girlfriend’s home on the Hummingbird Highway.  Police reports indicate that 46-year-old, Nolberto Ical was intoxicated when he went to the home of his ex-partner yesterday evening at around six thirty.  The report says that Ical instigated an argument with his ex, who had just broken up with him last week.  When Ical began attacking other members of the household, the woman’s son-in-law intervened and inflicted cut wounds to Ical’s ear, neck, and left hand.  After being injured, Ical left the house and headed for the bus stop, where Police met him and took him to the Southern Regional Hospital.
