Leadership Intervention Unit to Get New Director: Dominique Norales to Succeed Late William Dawson
The Leadership Intervention Unit (LIU) will see a new Director installed by the end of the month. Dominique Norales has been selected to succeed the late William Dawson. WE understand that the government is at the stage of contract drafting.
Chester Williams, Commissioner of Police: “I know the minister is working on that. The last I spoke with him he said that they had drafted contracts and they were waiting to finalize so as soon as that is finalized I am sure that he is going to make an announcement to the public. She is young, she is vibrant, she knows many of the players, the young people. She recently came back from studying abroad. I think she is well energetic and will be respected by the youths on our street and so I do anticipate that she is going to do well and in addition to that she’s not an entity onto herself she will be supported by us and other agencies that are part of LIU so we’ll be there to guide her and to make sure that the LIU functions the way it should function.”
