Marconi Leal Jr. to Succeed His Father as PUP Standard Bearer for Belize Rural North

Marconi Leal Junior will be taking over the political reins from his father in Belize Rural North.  Yesterday, we told you of the decision by the senior not to contest in the next general elections.  It was then left up to the executive of the People’s United Party (PUP) to decide the way forward in selecting a new standard bearer.  Love News spoke with PUP Chairman, Henry Usher, on how the decision to have Leal Junior take over in the division.
