This Ministry of Education, Culture, Science, and Technology of Belize is teaming up with the National Institute of Culture and History to ensure the upkeep of the George Price Centre for Peace and Development in Belmopan. This morning the Ministry and NICH signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the center to enhance the objectives of education and cultural promotion. The agreement was signed by CEO in the Ministry Dian Mehia along with Mario Sabido Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Center and Arreini Palacio-Morgan a representative of the board. Under the agreement, the Ministry will provide financial support for the upkeep of the facilities, while NICH will support the center’s work with its exhibits and programs.
