Municipal Court Bailiff Out on Bail After Illegally Modifying Firearm Charges

Municipal court bailiff Brandon Gillett is out on bail after being remanded for having an illegally modified firearm. Gillett’s bail hearing was heard yesterday in the High Court of Belize by Justice Antionette Moore. Gillett was granted bail in the sum of ten thousand dollars plus two sureties of five thousand dollars each. He is due back in court on February 21, 2024. On Friday, December 22, Gillett was charged with five counts of altering a firearm without the permission of the firearms control board for placing tactical grips, sights, and a flashlight on his licensed weapon.
