Recently installed, Dr Richard Rosado, says there will be a shuffling of his senior command in the coming weeks. Dr. Rosado took over the reins of the Police Department last Thursday from Chester Williams. This afternoon, via a media interview, the new top cop confirmed that with new leadership comes changes. Love News understands that he is looking to name a new Deputy Police Commissioner, a post he held for just over three years before ascending to the commissioner. We further understand that he is also looking to move Senior Superintendent of Police, Christopher Noble as the Northern Regional Commander and Assistant Commissioner of Police, Hilberto Romero, as the Officer commanding the Eastern Division. According to Rosado, these moves should be expected under new leadership.

Dr.Richard Rosado, Commissioner of Police: “With change in any command vacancy will be created and with vacancies we must put people that are best fit and qualified to those posts and it is true that we have a number of….when one vacancy open it creates a number of other vacancies so there will be a number of shuffling that will be happening around.”
As we noted, the shuffling is expected to occur within the next few weeks; a development our newsroom will continue to follow.
