NTUCB Urges Government to Fast-Track Occupational Safety and Health Bill

The National Trade Union Congress of Belize (NTUCB) continues to call on GOB to rush the OSH Bill. The umbrella organization says it is dissatisfied with the Ministry of Labor’s efforts to address union matters that the Prime Minister committed to resolving in May this year. One such issue, according to NTUCB President Luke Martinez, is finalizing the implementation of the Occupational Safety and Health Bill, the OSH Bill. Martinez says the bill has stalled for years and says the union is sending a message to the PM for him to remember his commitments.
