Retired Public Officers Protest in Belmopan Amid Budget Debate

This morning, while parliamentarians debated the budget, members of the Association of Beneficiaries and Retired Public Officers demonstrated in Belmopan. The association wants the money released from the Public Service Workers Trust (PSWT), and says that even after being assured by the Prime Minister, it is yet to be done. The association protested last year on day one of the Budget Debate and chose to do so again this year. Reporter Vejea Alvarez was there and has the story.
