Senior Immigration Officer Caught on Camera Taking Bar Patron’s Phone

Senior Immigration Officer, Martin Guy, is in the news tonight after a surveillance video shows him taking a phone from a bar and fleeing the scene.  While a criminal complaint was not filed with the Police, the Immigration Department has launched an internal investigation into the matter.  In the video, Guy is seen waiting around at the bar, and after a few seconds in the footage, it shows him taking the phone then leaving.  In the process of doing some probing, we were told that Guy was upset after being billed in excess of what he had ordered at Corozal’s Wood House Bistro and had gotten tired of waiting.  We were further informed that Guy had later returned the phone.  While there is no Police investigation into the matter, CEO Tanya Santos-Neal explained that they are looking into the incident with the possibility of administrative sanctions.  She told Love News that, quote, “there is no tolerance for this type of behavior, once we are made aware of it, we will deal with it fully.”  End of quote.
