Store owner robbed at gunpoint in Independence Village

On Saturday night, there was an armed robbery at A-Plus Superstore in the Buen Amigo Area of Independence Village. Just after 7:30, Jinhua Zhen, the owner, reported that while inside his store, two dark-skinned men entered the establishment. One of the masked assailants held up the businessman with what was described as a pump-action shotgun. His accomplice then went behind the cash register, shoved the cashier out of the way, and took $1,300 in cash. The armed robbers then made good their escape. Police continue to look for two men.
