Three Young Belizeans to benefit from free higher education courtesy Love Foundation and Angelus Press Partnership
Three young Belizeans will be able to achieve free higher education, thanks to a partnership between the Love Foundation and the Angelus Press. This morning, Love Foundation received a donation of just under seven thousand dollars from the Angelus Press. The funds will provide two females and one male with full scholarships to pursue tertiary-level education. The endeavor began several years ago and has resulted in several Belizeans accomplishing their educational goals. The Angelus Press’ operations manager, John Gillett, says the collaboration is centered on giving back and being socially responsible.
The recipients have been working with the Love Foundation for several years to implement programs geared at sparking positive changes in their communities. Managing Director of the Love Foundation, Deborah Sewell-Erskine, spoke about how the program seeks to positively change the lives of deserving Belizean youth.
The recipients will attend Galen University, Saint John’s College, and the University of Belize, respectively.
