Tour Guide Injured in Belize City Shooting Incident

A tour guide was injured in a shooting incident on Saturday night in Belize City. Around 9 o’clock, 56-year-old, Edmond Williams, arrived at a party on Mayflower Street when several gunshots rang out. Williams told police he was standing outside when the shots were fired and later realized he was hit. Williams was taken to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital and received treatment for a gunshot wound in his right leg. Police found four 9mm expended shells at the scene.
