Tragedy Strikes at Belize Airport: Belizean/American Man Dies Suddenly

A Belizean/American man died this morning at the Philip Goldson International Airport (PGIA).  The 79-year-old made it off the plane and into the airport building, but never made it to the immigration line.  Love News understands that he had indicated that he was not feeling well, and was escorted the office of the public health inspector.  A few moments later he collapsed.  The Emergency Medical Team, stationed at the airport, was called in but the man could not be resuscitated.  Officials have since identified the man as Hubert Maxwell Arana of a West Street address in Punta Gorda Town, Toledo District.  Arana landed in Belize on a Delta flight from Atlanta, Georgia, USA at ten-fifty this morning.  Within twenty minutes he had pass.  He was officially pronounced dead at around midday today.
