The fight for rights to the United Democratic Party’s leadership and organs continues. Today, two issues of the Guardian Newspaper were released setting another unseen moment in political history. In the edition from the Alliance for Democracy, Tracy Panton announced the names of her new Central Executive while the UDP focused on the work of Party Leader, Moses Shyne Barrow. The publication by the Alliance is a clear reflection of the continuous attempts at the hijacking of the UDP while the other is a reflection of Barrow’s determination to retain his seat and power. Come tomorrow, however, both parties will be going to court with the hope of getting a ruling on which faction should occupy the UDP Secretariat/Headquarters on Youth for the Future Drive. We will keep you posted.
