UDP Campaign Manager and Deputy Chairman speak on UDP’s happenings

UDP’s National Campaign Manager, Lindsey Garbutt along with the Deputy Chairman, Alberto August were on The Morning Show today speaking on the on-goings of the opposition and the current breakaway led by Tracy Panton.  The conversation has led to the upset of Panton who publicly posted that the show was riddled with mistruths.  One of the interesting points coming out of today’s show was the comment made by Garbutt saying that he had supported Panton as leader when she had entered as a candidate.

One of the sentiments being echoed on social media since the start of the campaign to unseat the leader of the opposition was to abide by the UDP resolution made last year.  That resolution was to wait until after the 2025 general elections to go to a leadership convention.  August supported that perspective as explained on the show./
