Belize Chamber of Commerce Meets with Prime Minister on National Issues

The Belize Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) met with Prime Minister today to discuss a wide range of national issues.  Those ranged from the coming of a credit rating system in the country to tax amnesty for young and new entrepreneurs.  Katherine Meighan led the discussion as the chamber’s recently elected president.  Love News spoke at length with Meighan on the meeting’s agenda.

The BCCI also commended the government on the recent MCC approval that will see millions injected in the energy and education sectors.  We understand that under the agenda for the next meeting will include import licenses, price control and the OSH Bill.
