Belize Government Lotteries Launches Million-Dollar Christmas Raffle

The Belize Government Lotteries Limited (BGLL) is raffling one million dollars in time for the Christmas holidays. The raffle is a part of the company’s first anniversary and has been dubbed, “One and a Million Jackpot’.  The announcement came this morning explaining that the raffle tickets would cost five dollars each.  Each player will get to choose a four-digit number for each ticket purchased.  On the draw date, Saturday, December 21, a raffle ticket will be selected.  If there are multiple winners, the one million dollars will be equally divided among the winners.  Tickets went on sale today and will continue through to December 20.  According to the BGLL, the profits generated from this raffle will be donated to charitable organizations as determined by the Board of Directors.
