Chetumal Chamber of Commerce lends a helping hand to Belize following Hurricane Lisa

Meanwhile, the people of Mexico are also providing a helping hand to Belize as the country recovers from Hurricane Lisa.  Yesterday, the country received a donation from the National Chamber of Commerce, Tourism and Services of Chetumal. This relief comes in the form of supplies, which include an assortment of hygiene products and groceries. Chief Executive Officer in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Amalia Mai received the donation from Mexico’s ambassador to Belize, Martha Zamarripa Rivas. Retired Colonel Shelton De Four, National Emergency Coordinator for the National Emergency Management Organization, was also present for the handing over.
