Forbes Magazine recognizes Belize’s Barrier Reef as one of the world’s best dive sites.

Belize’s Barrier Reef has been featured in Forbes Magazine for being one of the world’s best dive sites.  The article states that “the 185-mile-long Belize Barrier Reef runs the length of the country and was named a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1996. Belize has one of the most successful and long-lasting coral regeneration sites in the world. This region is home to three of only four atolls in all of the Atlantic Ocean. It is also home to the world-famous Great Blue Hole. Charles Darwin called this area “the most remarkable reef in the West Indies.” The article also notes that the reef is 10,000 years old, and it’s the second-largest barrier reef in the world and the longest barrier reef system in the Northern Hemisphere.
