Home Burglarized on Sittee Street; Electronics Stolen

On Tuesday, July 8, Police received a report of a Sittee Street burglary in Belize City. Responding officers met with Leticia Tate, a 25-year-old bank teller who informed police that she had left her home secured at 7:20 AM and returned for lunch around 12:20 PM to discover that her front burglar bar door had been damaged and wires for her surveillance system were cut. Upon entering, she found her room ransacked. Missing items include a dark Asus Chromebook valued at eight hundred dollars and two iPhone 8 devices. Investigations indicate that entry was gained by kicking open the wooden back door on the northern side of the building.
