Rotary Club Mourns Passing of First District Governor, John Searle

Rotary Club of Belize’s first District Governor, John Searle, has passed away. Searle had been ailing in the United States and transitioned this morning. He served the club since 1975 and served as District Governor from 1999 to 2000. Governor-Elect, for Rotary Club District 4250, Maria Price says that Searle’s passing is a tremendous loss for the country.

Price added that Searle’s business principles followed the values of Rotary which include integrity and fellowship service. She expressed her deepest condolences to the family.

A memorial service will be held on Friday in Belize City.
