San Pedro Resident Reports Firearm Theft Amid Burglary Incident

A San Pedro man reported that his licensed firearm was stolen during a burglary yesterday. Guillermo Antonio Orellana told police that he put his chrome nine-millimeter pistol along with a 15-round capacity magazine inside a yellow dry bag and left the bag on his sofa. Orellana says he left his home around one o’clock yesterday morning and went to the DFC area of San Pedro Town. When he returned around 2:45 a.m., the bag with his weapon, along with some other fishing equipment, was missing. Orellana said that there was no sign of forced entry so he believes the burglars may have entered through a door that was left unlocked.
