Senate Committees Deliver Reports; Peyrefitte Commends President Sandiford

Prior to the Senate debate over the Auditor General’s appointment, there were presentations from several committees of the Senate.  The first to present on reports from the committees was UDP’s Lead Senator, Michael Peyrefitte.  Before he presented on the report of the Standing Orders Committee, Senator Peyrefitte commended President Carolyn Trench Sandiford on a job unprecedented and well done.  

Today’s Senate sitting is the final one before the general elections are held.
