The DYS warns youth about the dangers of drugs and alcohol

The Department of Youth Services (DYS) is advising the nation’s youth to remain free of drugs and alcohol during the Easter holiday. The department notes that while this time of the year is meant to be enjoyed, consumption of illicit substances and alcohol may have a negative impact on young minds. DYS Director Kevin Cadle says it is his hope that young people are not involved in any illegal or questionable activities over the holiday weekend.

Cadle explained that the DYS is not having any activities over the weekend but has big plans they are working on for the summer vacation.
