Tour guide murdered in his yard; a second man injured

Authorities still do not know who killed Emert Flowers – or why. But, an active investigation is underway in connection with the tour guide’s murder late last night in Belize City. Love News has learned that the 61-year-old was in his yard on  Racecourse Street talking to 77-year-old Dusseldore Waight. At around 9:55, the gunman walked in and fired several shots at the pair. Flowers received injuries to the body and was pronounced dead more than an hour later while Waight received injuries. He received treatment – and we understand he has since been released. Flowers’s body is at the morgue awaiting an autopsy. Our newsroom reached out to a number of family members about the case and they’ve all declined comment.
