Belize Volleyball Team Faces Another Setback in Central American Championships

Team Belize has suffered another loss in the 22nd Central American senior men’s volleyball championships. The team played against Guatemala last night, losing three consecutive sets at 19-25, 19-25 and 24-26. Head Coach Albert Humes said that the team has been keeping positive since the loss and focusing on tonight’s game.

Humes said that winning the gold in the tournament is not impossible for Belize at this stage in the tournament, but that would depend on external factors rather than the team’s performance. He said that the team now battles Costa Rica for silver against Costa Rica.

The game takes place tonight at the Belize Civic Center.
